In this tour, we will cover the five most popular destinations in Kenya, combining the northern and southern parks—Masai Mara National Reserve (2 nights), Lake Naivasha (1 night), Amboseli National Park (2 nights), Tsavo West (1 night), and Tsavo East (1 night). The tour starts and ends in Nairobi. With our experienced driver guides, it will be a trip of a lifetime!
Itinerary
Day 1 – Nairobi to Masai Mara
Your tour starts with a pick-up at 7:30 AM from your Nairobi hotel or Airport and a drive to Masai Mara. This drive will take 5 to 6.5 hours, with a scenic stopover at Great Rift Valley. Arrive in Masai Mara shortly after noon, check into your lodge/camp, have a hot lunch, and then depart for an afternoon game drive.
After the game drive, we head back to the lodge/camp to reach it by around 5:30 or 6:00 PM. We freshened up and enjoyed a freshly prepared dinner. Overnight at your lodge.
Day 2 – Masai Mara
Today’s itinerary is flexible. You can discuss the previous evening with your guide and plan today’s schedule.
You can have a relaxed breakfast, depart for full-day game drives around 9:00 AM with a packed lunch, and return to the lodge late afternoon around 6:00 PM. Or you can leave at 6:00 AM on an early morning game drive (This is the best time to see the animals and an excellent chance to witness hunt/kill). Later, return to accommodation for breakfast, relax, and depart on an afternoon game drive with a packed lunch. You will stop at a picnic spot for a packed lunch and later depart on a game drive until the park is closed. Around 6:00 PM, I returned to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay
Day 3 – Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, check out and depart for Lake Naivasha, about a five-hour drive from Mara Gate. Upon reaching Naivasha, check-in, have dinner, and relax for the day.
Day 4—Lake Naivasha to Amboseli
Start your day with a Boat Ride to Crescent Island, where you will do a nature walk next to zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, waterbucks, antelopes, and many types of birds. Return to your camp or lodge in Naivasha and check out. Start your drive to Amboseli with lunch en route. You can check into your accommodation, enjoy dinner at your lodge or camp, and unwind after the drive.
Day 5 – Amboseli

Day 6- Amboseli to Tsavo West
Wake up early and proceed to Amboseli for game drives around 6:15 AM. Continue with game drives till around 9:00 AM and then head back to camp for breakfast. After breakfast, check out from camp and proceed to Tsavo West. Check out and proceed towards Tsavo East. This drive will take about 3 to 3.5 hours. Have a packed lunch en route; arrive in Tsavo West by evening and check into your lodge/camp. Enjoy your evening and dinner at your lodge or camp. Relax and unwind after the drive.
Day 7 – Tsavo West to Tsavo East
Explore an early morning game drive at Tsavo West National Park, focusing on spotting wildlife and enjoying scenic landscapes. Continue with game drives till around 9:00 AM and then head back to camp for breakfast. After breakfast, check out from camp and proceed to Tsavo East. This drive will take about 3 to 4 hours. Upon reaching Tsavo West, check into your lodge/camp. Enjoy your evening and dinner at your lodge or camp. Relax and unwind after the drive.
Day 8—Tsavo East to Nairobi.
Wake up early and proceed for game drives around 6:15 AM. Head out for a final early morning game drive in Tsavo East. The park is known for its large elephant herds and diverse wildlife. Continue with game drives until around 9:00 AM and return to camp for breakfast. After breakfast, check out from camp and proceed to Nairobi. This drive will take about 6 to 6.5 hours. You can stop for lunch en route.
