Mweteise Godwin

Owner and Founder of Yala Safaris Uganda

Godwin was born in Mbarara but raised in Kampala and has since 2005 worked in the Tour and Travel industry. He bears immense knowledge about destinations like Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania, and he is the vision bearer behind Yala Safaris Uganda! After 11 years as a field guide and his love for Uganda he decided to open Yala Safaris in 2016 with the aim of showing Uganda’s beauty, blessed with abundant wildlife, extraordinary landscapes, happy friendly people, passionate about showing visitors why the Pearl of Africa is so very special not forgetting the Gorilla and Chimpanzee Uganda and Rwanda main safari holiday attractions. Above all else, Godwin is passionate about the quality of the team at Yala Safaris Uganda. He is a believer that genuine safari consultants experts are a rare find yet they are fundamental to a good safari company. With a dozen professional safari guides and two safari consultants working for Yala Safaris Uganda, Godwin guarantees that Yala Safaris Uganda consultants are some of the very best in the entire industry. Godwin loved the black and white Colobus monkey and would spend hours admiring them!

Ephraim Buwamba

Ephraim joined Yala Safaris Uganda in the beginning of 2018, he grew up in Western Uganda region not far from Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, where he got a passion to join the hospitality industry, Ephraim holds a degree in tourism and hospitality management and have a flair for talking to groups along with a good memory of facts and figures. He is fantastic with an infectious sense of humour and an expert at thinking quickly on his feet. With 6 years of experience Ephraim works as a tour consultant and operations officer at Yala Safaris Uganda.
