This 8-day safari takes you on a thrilling adventure through some of Uganda’s most breathtaking natural wonders. Starting in Murchison Falls National Park, you’ll witness the awe-inspiring power of the Nile as it crashes through a narrow gorge and cascades down a series of waterfalls. Moving on to the North and Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, you’ll have the opportunity to spot a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, and leopards. The trip also includes visits to the scenic Lake Bunyonyi and Lake Mburo, where you can relax and take in the stunning surroundings or go on a game drive to see zebra, impala, and other African animals. Short itinerary:

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to Murchison Falls to visit the top of the falls. Stay at Murchison Falls. (L,D)
Day 2: Game drive & Boat ride at Murchison Falls National Park. Stay at Murchison Falls. (B,L,D)
Day 3: Transfer from Murchison Falls to North of Queen Elizabeth. Stay at North of Queen Elizabeth. (B,L,D)
Day 4: Game drive and Boat Cruise at North of Queen Elizabeth. Stay at North of Queen Elizabeth. (B,L,D)
Day 5: Morning game drive in North and transfer to Ishasha sector for evening game drive. Stay at Ishasha sector. (B,L,D)
Day 6: Game drive at Ishasha sector and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Stay at Lake Bunyonyi. (B,L,D)
Day 7: Transfer from Lake Bunyonyi to Lake Mburo for evening game drive. Stay at Lake Mburo.(B,L,D)
Day 8: Game drive at Lake Mburo and transfer to Kampala. (B,L)

Transfer Time:

Day 1: Kampala to Ziwa Rhino is around 3 hours (160+ Km) , Ziwa Rhino to Murchison Falls is around 3 hours (170+ Km)
Day 3: Murchison Falls to North of Queen Elizabeth is around 8 hours (400+ Km)
Day 6: Ishasha Sector to Lake Bunyonyi is around 4 hours (120+ Km)
Day 7: Lake Bunyonyi to Lake Mburo is around 4 hours (200+ Km)
Day 8: Lake Mburo to Kampala is around 5 hours (230+ Km)

Note:

  1. On Day 5, instead of morning game drive, you can add Chimpanzee tracking at Kalinzu Forest at USD 50 per person.
  2. At Lake Bunyonyi no activities are included. You can do Canoeing, Boat ride, Community walk, Bird watching , Batwa Cultural Visit and many more activities at Lake Bunyonyi by booking directly with the accommodation once you reach Lake Bunyonyi.
