1. Introduction
Welcome to Yala Safaris Uganda. By booking or participating in a safari or related service with us, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully
2. Bookings and Reservations
- All bookings must be confirmed in writing via email or our official website.
- A deposit of 30% of the total price is required to confirm a booking. The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before the start of the safari.
- If a booking is made within 30 days of the safari start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing.
- Cancellations made 60 days or more before the safari start date are eligible for a 70% refund of the deposit.
- Cancellations made 30-59 days before the safari start date will incur a 50% penalty of the deposit.
- Cancellations made less than 30 days before the safari start date are non-refundable.
- In the event of force majeure (including, but not limited to, war, natural disasters, pandemics), Yala Safaris Uganda reserves the right to offer alternative dates or services, subject to availability.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
- All clients are required to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers personal accidents, medical expenses, evacuation, and cancellation.
5. Passports, Visas, and Health
- Clients are responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports, visas, and required vaccinations for Uganda.
- Yala Safaris Uganda is not responsible for any costs incurred due to failure to obtain necessary documents.
6. Liability
- Yala Safaris Uganda takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our clients. However, we cannot accept liability for personal injury, loss, or damage during the safari.
- We are not responsible for any delays, cancellations, or changes to the itinerary due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., flight cancellations, strikes, weather conditions)
7. Changes to the Itinerary
- Yala Safaris Uganda reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the safari itinerary if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Any significant changes will be communicated to clients as soon as possib
8. Complaints
- Any complaints during the safari should be raised with the tour guide or company representative immediately to allow for prompt resolution.
- Complaints that cannot be resolved on-site should be submitted in writing within 30 days after the end of the safari.
9. Use of Photos and Videos
- Yala Safaris Uganda may use photos and videos taken during safaris for promotional purposes unless a client specifically requests otherwise in writing before the safari begins
10. Governing Law
- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Uganda. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.
11. Amendments
- Yala Safaris Uganda reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes before their safari.
By making a booking with Yala Safaris Uganda, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
