Short itinerary:

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary (Rhino tracking) to Murchison Falls to visit the top of the falls. Stay at Murchison Falls. (L,D)
Day 2: Game drive & Boat ride at Murchison Falls National Park. Stay at Murchison Falls (B,L,D)
Day 3: Transfer from Murchison Falls to Kibale National Park. Stay at Kibale (B,L,D)
Day 4: Chimp tracking in Kibale and transfer to Ishasha sector. Stay at Ishasha sector (B,L,D)
Day 5: Game drive at Ishasha sector and transfer to Bwindi. Stay at Buhoma, Bwindi (B,L,D)
Day 6: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Stay at Lake Bunyonyi (B,L,D)

Day 1: Kampala to Ziwa Rhino is around 3 hours (160+ Km) , Ziwa Rhino to Murchison Falls is around 3 hours (170+ Km)
Day 3: Murchison Falls to Kibale is around 7 hours (360+ Km)
Day 4: Kibale to Ishasha sector is around 5 hours (200+ Km)
Day 5: Ishasha Sector to Bwindi is around 2 to 3 hours (70+ Km)
Day 6: Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi is around 1.5 to 3 hours (60+ Km)
Day 7: Lake Bunyonyi to Kampala is around 8-9 hours (415+ Km)

Note:

  1. To avoid the long drive on Day 7, we can arrange flight from Kisoro airstrip to Entebbe at USD 270 per person.
  2. Another option to avoid the long drive on Day 7 is to end at Kigali, Rwanda. The drive from Lake Bunyonyi to Kigali is around 4 hours (170+ Km). This option costs extra USD 100 for the vehicle.
  3. At Lake Bunyonyi no activities are included. You can do Canoeing, Boat ride, Community walk, Bird watching , Batwa Cultural Visit and many more activities at Lake Bunyonyi by booking directly with the accommodation once you reach Lake Bunyonyi.

1
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking and later to Murchison Falls to visit the top of the falls
Your Uganda safari adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your accommodation in Kampala by your driver/guide who will transfer you to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, located in Nakasongola district. Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is a 70 square kilometer reserve that offers visitors a chance to track wild rhinos on foot. Upon arrival, you will have a briefing on the dos and don'ts of rhino tracking before setting off into the sanctuary in the company of an armed ranger guide. Tracking the rhinos usually takes 2-3 hours depending on their location. Once you have located the rhinos, you will get to observe them at a safe distance, take photographs, and learn about their behavior and conservation. After the rhino tracking experience, you will proceed to Murchison Falls National Park, the largest and oldest national park in Uganda. Upon arrival, you will visit the top of the falls, where the Nile River crashes through a narrow gorge and cascades down a 43-meter drop creating a breathtaking view. You will then check into your lodge at Murchison Falls.

Day 2: Game drive & Boat ride at Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast at your lodge, you will embark on a morning game drive through the northern section of Murchison Falls National Park. The park is home to several wildlife species including elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, hyenas, and several antelope species. You will have an opportunity to spot these animals in their natural habitat and learn about their behavior from your guide. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch before embarking on an afternoon boat ride on the Nile River. The boat ride offers a chance to view animals such as hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species that inhabit the riverbanks. You will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer from Murchison Falls to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and embark on a scenic drive to Kibale National Park, which is approximately 5-6 hours away. Kibale National Park is famous for its population of habituated chimpanzees and other primates such as red colobus monkeys and grey-cheeked mangabeys. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, you can relax at the lodge.

Day 4: Chimp tracking in Kibale and transfer to Ishasha sector
Today you will go on a chimpanzee tracking adventure in Kibale National Park. You will set off early in the morning in the company of an experienced ranger guide who will take you to where the chimpanzees spent the previous night. You will get to observe these primates as they go about their daily activities such as grooming, feeding, and playing. The chimpanzee tracking experience takes about 2-3 hours and is a truly memorable experience. After the chimpanzee tracking experience, you will have lunch before departing for the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is famous for its population of tree-climbing lions. You will check into your lodge and have dinner.

Day 5: Game drive at Ishasha sector and transfer to Bwindi
After breakfast, you will go on a game drive in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park in search of tree-climbing lions. Other wildlife species that you may spot during the game drive include elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, topis, and Uganda kobs. After the game drive, you will depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to over half of the world's population of endangered mountain gorillas. You will check into your lodge in Buhoma, the northern sector of Bwindi and have dinner.

Day 6: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After an early breakfast and along with packed lunch and water you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing on the dos and don'ts of gorilla tracking. The park rangers will assign you to a gorilla family, and you'll be accompanied by a guide and trackers to help you locate the gorillas. The trek can take several hours, but the experience of coming face to face with the gorillas is truly unforgettable. You'll spend an hour with the gorillas, observing and taking photos before trekking back to the park headquarters. After the gorilla trek, you'll transfer to Lake Bunyonyi where you'll check into your lodge.
In the evening you can opt to do any of these optional activities - boat/canoe ride around the lake, hike to one of the surrounding islands, visit local communities, or simply unwind on the lakeshore and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Day 7: Transfer from Lake Bunyonyi to Kampala
After breakfast, you can either opt to do the optional activities or just relax at your accommodation.
Later in the day, you'll depart Lake Bunyonyi with lunch en route and travel back to Kampala, arriving in the evening, marking the end of your amazing adventure.
